To Discuss Green Deal Advice Requirements,
to obtain a Competitive Quote
or for an Assessment

During The Assessment Visit

SELTEC assessors will produce a Green Deal Advice Report (GDAR). This is made up of an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), which ranks your home's energy efficiency on a scale of A to G, and an Occupancy Assessment (OA), which assesses how you use energy in your home.

We will ask mandatory questions, some of which include how many people live in your home, what energy efficient measures are already installed, your heating pattern, access to loft, and whether your home is in a conservation area, listed building, or built in a non-traditional way.

SELTEC will remain impartial when giving advice. This will be made clearer in our terms and conditions.

After The Assessment Visit

SELTEC recommends that you shop around by taking your GDAR to several Green Deal Providers (GDP) for your quotes for the Green Deal Measures that are recommended in your GDAR.

Green Deal Providers will give you a detailed quote for the measures and the repayment method. We recommend that you compare it with other financing options, such as, a personal loan, or using your own savings.

Ensure that you understand the measures you have been quoted for and what they mean for making your home energy efficient. If you are unsure, ask for a detailed explanation.

We are willing to answer any queries that you may have on Green Deal Advice Reports (GDARs).
